I love cooking, you guys already know that, but what I equally love is being fit and healthy. I love working out and I pay a lot of attention to what I put into my body (therefore the nutrinional information of all my dishes).
It has been almost a year that I am a devoted follower of MadeFitTv, a website about health and fitness information and entertainment! Jenny, the owner of MadeFit, works as personal trainer in the Detroid area but with her blog and weekly podcasts her advice can reach everyone!
Besides exerices, workout sets and other useful infomation ,from time to time she also gives out some valuable healthy recipes! The other week her podcast was about protein shakes. I am a big fan of protein shakes and she gave me this great idea for a mocha peanut butter one. I’ve tried it and it is delicious, so I wanna share it with you! Here is the recipe.
Ingredients (for one big shake or 2 small shake):
- 1/2 cup coffee (cold)
- 3 ice cubes
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup fat free milk
- 1 scoop of protein powder (vanilla flavour)
- 1 packet of sugar substitute
All you have to do is put all the ingredients into your blender and mix it up for a few minutes.
Serve it in a glass and enjoy!
