Strawberry Banana Protein Shake

Today I’m going to share with you an other delicious shake recipe. It is an ideal solution for a quick but energetic breakfast or as a snack after your workout routine. It’s also an easy way to incorporate into your diet the necessary amout of fruit that we daily need!

I got the idea for this shake recipe once again from MadeFitTV. As I already told you it is a great website with lots of info about how to be fit and healthy! Check it out if you haven’t already!

I’ve got a lot of emails about where to buy protein powder in China without breaking the bank. Well, almost any decent gym in town sells it but, yeah, they will charge you a lot more (double-triple the price). A cheaper solution is Taobao (see the Where To Shop section). There you can find different brand at good prices (just a few bucks more than back home). As you already know, if you need any help placing your order with Taobao you can email me :) [email protected]

Ingredients (for 1 big shake or 2 small shakes):

  • 1/2 banana
  • 5 frozen strawberries
  • 1 scoop protein powder (vanilla flour)
  • 1/2 cup skim milk
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tsp strawberry jello mix
  • 3 ice cubes

In a blender combine all ingredients and mix for about one or two minutes (add more water if you want it less thick).

Pour it in a glass and enjoy!

One full shake provides:

  • Calories: 320
  • Fat: 3 g
  • Carbohydrates: 35 g
  • Protein: 27 g

Si, e’ buonissimo. Se non hai messo le proteine i valori nutrizionali scendono a 200 kcal e per le proteine a 3 g.
