Chicken Roll

Last Saturday I got an oral surgery so now I have 2 stitches in my mouth and I can slowly eat only soft food.

At home I had this ricotta cheese that I bought from Bottega with the help of Giusy of Vivishanghai and some ground chicken meat so yesterday night I decided to make this new recipe that I’ve called Chicken Roll. The combination of the ground chicken and the ricotta cheese makes it very soft, therefore perfect for my current situation :)

And if you get some leftover you can use it the following day for making a sandwich to bring to the office, just add some lettuce, tomatoes, mayonnaise (if you like it) and you are ready to go…;)

Ingredients (for 6 servings) 原料(6人份量)

  • 500 g ground chicken breast – 500克 鸡胸肉泥
  • 250 g ricotta cheese – 250克瑞克达芝士
  • 1 egg white – 鸡蛋清一个
  • 5 tbsp breadcrumb – 5 匙面包屑
  • 4 slices ham – 4片火腿
  • 1/2 glass of white wine – 1/2杯白葡萄酒
  • salt and rosemary – 食用盐和迷迭香

In a bowl place meat, ricotta, salt, rosemary, the egg white and the breadcrumb. 将肉,瑞克达芝士,食用盐,迷迭香,鸡蛋清和面包屑放置一个碗中.

Mix all the ingredients together (add more breadcrumb if it is too soft). 将所有的材料混合在一起(如过于柔软,可加入更多面包屑)

On a baking sheet, spread out the meat mixture and lay over it the ham slices. 在烤锡纸均匀涂抹上肉类混合物,再铺上火腿片.

Grease with some olive oil a baking tin. Helping yourself with the baking sheet, roll up the meat and place it in the baking tin. 烤盘刷上一些橄榄油. 用 烤锡纸将肉卷起来并放入烤盘.

Cover it with some aluminum foil and bake in preheat oven at 180 C for about 30 min. 烤箱预热后,以180度 大约烤30分钟

Remove the aluminum foil, pour in the half glass of wine and bake for 30 more min. 拿走铝纸 ,然后倒入半杯酒再烘培30多分钟即可

Cut the chicken roll into slices and serve warm. Enjoy :)

将鸡肉卷切成片, 乘热上菜即可。用餐愉快!

  • Carbohydrates: 6.1 g
  • Protein: 30 g
