Yes you heard me right, this is going to be a life saver for all us girls who love ice cream but are also concerned about our body weight.

This recipe will allow you to prepare your own home made ice cream without using an ice cream machine and with basically only one ingredient!

I’ve found this recipe on Instructables.com, at first I was quite skeptical but still I decided to give it a try. I am glad I did cause now this has become my favorite ice cream recipe!

Hope you will like it too

Ingredients:

  • Ripe bananas (one big banana makes one serving)
  • 1 tbsp Jell’O Gelatin Dessert (of the flavor you like)

Take some ripe bananas

Cut them into pieces and put them in a zip lock bag. Put them in the freezer overnight.

Place your frozen bananas in your blender and start mashing it till it gets almost creamy.

It might take a while but don’t give up! Keep blending!

Now it’s time to add your favorite flavor. I like strawberries so I put one tbsp (for about 3 big bananas) of Jell’O Gelatin Dessert. You can also try and add other kind of frozen fruit, or Chocolate syrup, or caramel. Anything you like!

Blend it a bit more or mix it with a spoon and your ice cream is ready!

Enjoy folks :)
