It’s Monday but it definitely feels like it’s Wednesday….Why? Because China has a special and totally weird holiday calendar! That’s why!
Basically last week from Wed to Fri we got a 3 day holiday but then we had to go to work over the weekend…Does that make any sense to you? Oh no, cause if it does, pls someone explain me why on earth I am suppose to go to work on a Saturday or on a Sunday…God doesn’t want me to work on Sundays…Do you Chinese people know that? Now I’ll end up in hell because of China Government retarded holiday calendar! Arg!!!
So yeah, after 2 days at work, today feels like it’s Wednesday, not Monday…and I am already tired and I want this week to end asap so I can finally get some rest. Good thing starting from Friday the 1st till 7th I will be on vacation in New Zealand…I just can’t wait to get on that plain and enjoy some nature and clean air!
I also got a really bad muscle injure from my pole dancing training and now I can’t even breath normally without screaming and making weird faces…SIGH! Not to mention about some weird messages I’ve go on facebook…this is really, really a screwed up period…
Let’s talk about food, at least cooking and eating always put a smile on my face 🙂
A few nights ago I prepared these chicken rolls: delicious, sweet treats! I love chicken and anything made with it! All you need is:
- 3 Chicken breasts (cut into slices)
- 3 big sweet peppers
- 1 clove of garlic
- fresh parsley
- salt, black pepper, a dash of heavy cream’
First thing, wash and cut into strips the sweet peppers.
In a skillet heat some oil and saute garlic. Add half of the sweet peppers and a tsp of salt.
Cover with a lid and cook at low heat till the vegetables are soft. Add chopped parsley.
Take one slide of chicken and on top of it place a few sweet peppers
Roll it up and close with toothpick. Repeat with the remaining chicken.
In the same skillet you just cook the sweet peppers, add a bit more olive oil, heat it up. Add the chicken rolls, salt and stir-fry and low-medium heat.
Add the remaining sweet peppers, salt, black pepper. Then cover with a lid and let cook for about 40 min at low heat.
When both chicken and vegetables are cooked, add a dash of heavy cream, mix to combine.
Cook for a few more minute. Serve!
