Grandma’s veggies

My grandmather first, then my mother used to make me this insanely tasty veggie dish. It is the simpliest recipe ever, yet one  of the most tasty one.

All you need is 3 ingredients and a pot, and well…a stove.

Make it as a side dish for your dinner tonight!

Ingredients (serves 3):

  • 500 g endive
  • 1 1/2 vegetable boullion cubes
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp salt

Start by carefully washing the endive

Bring some water to a boil and drop in the veggies

Add 1 tsp of salt and let boil for 2-3 min

Grab some vegetable boullion cubes

cut them into smaller pieces and put them in an other pot

With a perforated spoon, remove veggies from one pot

and move into the other

Leave them quite watery, don’t drain them too much

Add in 1/2 cup of grated parmesan cheese, stir well and let simmer for about 10 min

Serve immediatelly

and enjoy

  • Calories: 100
  • Fat: 5.1 g
  • Carbohydrates: 6 g
  • Protein: 8.5 g
