I’ve got only one word to describe my life in the past few weeks: BUSY!
I’m working on a number of different projects which I will share with you soon. Just to give u a heads up, among many other things, I am organizing, together with Golden Gate Grapes, a 4 day wine tasting class for the month of November. The course will be teached by Mike Gaudette, a graduate of Le Cordon Blue Wine Class in Paris.
He certainly knows wine…
I’ll update you with all the details in the coming days and if you are in Shanghai I will strongly recommend you to join us to learn more about wine and meet other wine lovers!
Said that I’ll stop promoting my own ideas and talk a bit of food with you…
Have I ever told you how much I love sweet potatoes? I don’t know why but every time I see someone on the street selling roasted sweet potatoes I have to buy one and eat it hot and steamy on my way back home…I’m an addictive-prone girl…what do you want me to say?
The other day I saw sweet potatoes at the grocery shop downstairs my building and I just couldn’t resist, so I bought one and made this recipe…I’m glad I did!
If you are a sweet potato lover like me, make this! You won’t regret it
Ingredients:
- 1 big sweet potato
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp Italian herbs
- 1 tbsp Parmesan cheese
Grab your sweet potato…wash it!
Scrub the sweet potato and cut into 1/2 inch slices
Toss the potato with olive oil,
then add salt,
ground black pepper
and Italin herbs mix
Spread them on a baking tray
and bake at 200 C (450 F) for about 20 min or more. A few minutes before taking them out of the oven, sprinkled some grated parmesan cheese on top
Let the fries cool down then served them
Enjoy!
Love
