Creamy Caramelized Onion Dip

I made this dip a few weeks ago and people loved it!

It s one of those things super easy to make yet super tasty. If you are planning on throwing a party, this is definitely a great idea to offer to your guests.

Here is the recipe!

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 1/2 cups onions, sliced
  • 1/4 tsp.  salt
  • 1 1/2 cups sour cream
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar

Slice up the onions

In a saute pan over medium heat add oil, heat and add onions, salt and sugar. Cook the onions until they are caramelized, about 20 minutes.

Remove from heat and set aside to cool. Place all the rest of the ingredients, and then add the cooled onions in a blender

and process until creamy

Refrigerate until ready to use and serve with chips, pita bread and veggies.
