Something I have always been concerned is the health of my hair. I’ve always wanted strong, shiny, thick hair so I’ve always tried to take good care of it.

The other day I found this article online listing the top 10 foods for healthy hair. Since I know that most women are concern about the beauty and health of their hair, I’ve decided to share with you this article

This is the link

http://www.webmd.com/skin-beauty/features/top-10-foods-for-healthy-hair

if you don’t feel like browsing the internet tho, this is the list of food you should make sure to incorporate in your diet for having strong, shiny hair!

  1. Fish
  2. Dark green vegetables (like spinach or broccoli)
  3. Beans
  4. Nuts
  5. Poultry
  6. Eggs
  7. Whole Grains
  8. Oysters
  9. Low- fat dairy products
  10. Carrots

Since fish is food number 1 for the health and beauty of our hair, today I share with you this tasty recipe I made for myself yesterday. I used the flounder steak I got from Andes Premium Catch. it was the last of 5 products they sent to me for tasting and it was also the one I like the most in flavor and tenderness. tho it had waaayyy too many fish bones, so if your feeding this to your kids pay extra attention to that! However for a slightly more expensive price (about 40 rmb for 150 gr), you can get skin and boneless filets of halibut fish at Andes Premium Catch. That might make your life easier ;)

Here is the recipe!

Ingredients:

  • 170 g flounder steak
  • 1.4 cup quinoa
  • 1/2 ripe tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp. chopped onion
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 tbsp. chopped parsley

Grab the Halibut steak

In a cast iron skillet heat up the remaining olive oil and cook the halibut steak on both sides for a couple of minutes.
