Banana Protein Chia Pudding

Hello folks! Greetings from Italy!

I want to start this post with one big announcement: since my arrival in Europe (Germany first and Italy now), I have gained 2 kg!!!!! Yes, you heard me.

I actually could not believe the number I saw when I stepped on the scale this morning….I was up to 51 kg while I was at my fit and lean 49 kg when I arrived….

Now, ok tomorrow is new year’s eve so big dinner with my friends and Sunday is a huge lunch with my whole family so forget any possibility to eat healthy and get back in shape…I guess my “come back” program will only start once I am back to Shanghai in a couple of weeks…Which will probably mean 2 more kgs on my tights….

However, for those of you who can stay lean and want to follow an heathy diet even during holiday season here is a great dessert/breakfast idea high in good fats, fibers and protein and very low in carbs and sugar.

I made this when i was in China as a quick grab and go breakfast. Give it a try!


  • 1 cup soy milk (or almond milk)
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 1/2 + 1/2 banana
  • 1 scoop pea protein powder
  • topping of choice (walnuts, dry coconut, berries, others)

Combine all ingredients into a blender

Blend until creamy

Portion the mixture into small jars, cover with a lid and place in your fridge overnight

Serve with some sliced banana and crushed walnuts or other toppings like dry coconut, chocolate nibs, berries and creme fresh.
