Raw Energy Hemp Balls
Low carb, packed with good fats, these raw balls will give you the right boost to start your day!
Past weeks have been sooo hectic and full of things to do. Work, business trips, meetings, fairs, events. I need a break! I was so busy I hardly had time to make myself anything more than a salad. Thank god I had made this energy balls the week before and they literally saved me from starvation!
Anytime I felt hungry, I popped one in my mouth and recharged!
They are super easy, require no cooking and are packed with all the good nutrients you need!
Ingredients (makes 12 balls):
- 1/2 cup almonds
- 1/4 cup almond butter
- 1/4 cup chia seeds
- 1 tbsp coconut oil, melted
- 1/4 tsp Himalaya salt
- 1 scoop hemp protein powder
- 1 tbsp coconut syrup
- 1/4 cup raw cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup dry coconut (for coating)
Place all the ingredients into a food processor
Blend until creamy
Form 12 balls (about 28 g each)
coat them into dry coconut and refrigerate
They store for up to 10 days, but trust me they won’t last THAT long 😉
