Creamy Salmon Pasta

Such an easy, quick and delicious pasta dish freshen up with some nice herbs.

For you pasta lovers out there, this recipe will knock your socks off! Put together fresh salmon, tomatoes on the vine, cream, fresh herbs and you get a delicious pasta dish which is even super easy to make.

I gave a class about how to make this sauce and all my students LOVED IT. You can use any cut of pasta, fusilli, penne, bow-tie, spaghetti or tagliatelle. You can use packaged pasta or, if make your own handmade! Here is my recipe 🙂


Ingredients (serves 1)

  • 100 g fresh skinless salmon fillet
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • 150 ml heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley or thyme
  • 8-10 grape tomatoes
  • Chili flakes (optional)
  • 100 g short cut pasta


Gather all your ingredients for the sauce: fresh salmon, tomatoes, herbs and garlic. Cut salmon into cubes (size can be small or medium)

In a skillet heat up oil and garlic. Saute’ on low heat until garlic gets a nice golden color

Wash and cut in half the tomatoes,

add them to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper. Cook on medium-high for 5 min

Add  salmon, cook on medium for 2-3 min

Add the cream now, adjust with salt and pepper and let simmer on low for 2-3 min. Add the chopped parsley or thyme

Meanwhile cook the pasta based on packaging instructions

Add it to the skillet and saute’ it with the sauce on low-medium heat for 1-2 min

Serve it up
